LRSD RISING STARS
Ages 8-12 years
In our Rising Stars classes there is a clear progression from Mini Stars. Building on the foundations and techniques learnt, students continue to progress and learn to further develop their skills and dance knowledge. The classes are fun and energetic but taught at a speed that challenges the age group perfectly. Our students learn routines and dances, then have the chance to take part in our yearly theatre shows and showcases.
In Acro our Rising Stars continue to work on their flexibility, strength work and learn more advanced Acro tricks. They will also learn an Acro Dance routine throughout the term, putting their Acro tricks they have learnt into a dance sequence.
Acro - Mondays 6.30-7.30pm - East Malling Centre

In Ballet our Rising Stars continue to further strengthen their Ballet technique, vocabulary and knowledge.

In Cheerleading our Rising Stars will learn high energy moves, motivational cheers and chants in a fun and energetic class.

In Modern/Jazz/Street Combo our Rising Stars continue to learn technique, strength and enjoy learning fun routines to a wide range of current music.

In Musical Theatre our Rising Stars will learn songs, script work and dances to lots of amazing musicals and animations. Rising Stars continue with vocal warm ups, as well as furthering their vocal and acting techniques.

In Street Dance our Rising Stars enjoy fun structured classes, continuing to build on and learn more Street styles, techniques and steps. Our Rising Stars will be learning more complicated choreography and working on performance techniques, ready for if they chose to take part in our performance opportunities.
